Because of the cat falling down the vent and coming out so dusty, the management office sent a company over to clean out the vents. Here is a before picture. Be sure to click on it so in enlarges. Just don't do it if you have a weak stomach.
Can you say disgusting? I thought I was going to DIE when they took the cover off. This was the return air duct so all of the air going through the system had to go through this first. NICE. I can't believe we've been able to even breathe here. Thank goodness for the cat.

ohmigosh. that is NASTY! you'd think they'd clean those when they have the cleaning crew come in when people move out. Dude, I'm calling Brad to come clean mine.
EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! I think I threw up in my mouth just a little on that one-too gross-I am going to get a screw driver out and check ours
