Stone Mountain is a state park here in GA. It's a really great place to visit. They have so many attractions and things to do. You can camp or stay in one of there many resorts. It would take a couple of days to fully enjoy all that it offers. The biggest attraction for those of us who live close by is the amazing FREE laser light show that they do every night on the side of the mountain. It's done to music and it's so much fun. We got there mid afternoon and took in a couple of attractions. Then we hung out on the lawn and had dinner while we waited for the show to start. I tried to take a couple of pictures of the show, but most of them didn't turn out well.

Random stranger here, reading your blog! : ) No, really, I saw you comment on Nikki's blog & followed through. I've been to Stone Mountain & seen the light show! It was really neat, though we were disappointed they represented TX with cactus! : )
