Oh the weather outside is fightful....

....but as long as you love me so...LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW!

That's one of my favorite Christmas songs. In fact, Christmas music is one of my favorite things about the holiday season.

That and Christmas parties.

And Christmas cards.

And Christmas treats.

And Christmas surprises.

ANYWAY, we battled the cold and snow to attend our base housing holiday party tonight. The management office rented out the local bowling area. (as Spencer calls it) Or bowling ally as most of us know it as. It was a lot of fun. We ate pizza, drank soda, bowled and played arcade games. All for free. I even got a strike in my first frame. No one witnessed it. Which was a shame considering the fact it's like the third time in my whole life. I say no one witnessed it because Brandon had duty tonight so it was just the kids and me that went and the older two were playing arcade games at that time. Sterling had a blast bowling and Seth clapped every time anyone knocked down pins. Even if they were seven lanes away. Lets just say he clapped a lot. Between claps and jumps for joy, he even got a couple of turns. All in all, it was A LOT of fun. We almost didn't go because of the nasty weather, but the roads were good and traffic wasn't heavy at all. So all was well.

Mom and Dad are coming this week. The kids don't know. It's always fun to surprise them. I can't wait.

Stephen turns 12 on Friday. It's hard for me to believe that he's this old. It just doesn't seem real. He's growing up. Right before my eyes.

We're having a Christmas party on Saturday. ADULTS ONLY. Can I tell you how excited I am? I think it's going to be so much fun. It's at 7:30. Feel free to stop by. We'd love to have you!

Till next time,

Your loving blogger

I wish we lived closer...I'd stop by and meet you! Although if I were to stop by I would want to meet those adorable boys too so maybe the party wouldn't be the right venue. :)

I just noticed you are in KC. I grew up in Columbia MO and went to college at Missouri State in Springfield. Good memories there. (except the tornadoes, which I am thrilled to be done with)

Have fun at your party! Thanks for the kind comments on my blog!
