I had a great weekend...did you?
My sister Sabrina came down from Richmond, VA on Thursday and the two of us took a little road trip up to Helen, GA. It's a little German town in North GA. It's MOSTLY made up of shops and restaurants, but it has a lot of other attractions as well. We drove a couple miles more and were able to see the falls at the state park very near there. It was a short hike to the falls and they were very pretty. I'd post pictures, but I left the camera at home so Brandon could use it. He took the kids to a "Touch A Truck" event in a neighboring town. There was every kind of truck and car there and the kids were able to climb in all of them including the helicopter. They even had the D.A.R.E. hurse...that is spelled wrong but for the life of me I don't know how to spell it. Fun was had by all! He did a wonderful job with the boys while I was away. It was nice to be away, but most of the time I was gone, I wanted them with me so they could enjoy the attractions with us. Life's kind of silly that way. I don't get too many chances to be away from the kids, and when I do, I miss them so much that I want them there. Silly I know. All in all it was very nice. Thanks Sabrina for coming down to see us! Next time we'll do Maui.

Out of the mouths of Babes...
So, you gotta love two year olds. Why you ask? Because, if you don't, and they live with you, you'll end up in jail. Sterling...the ever becoming more like me miniature of me. If both of us remain friends through out this life, it will be nothing short of a miracle. It's a good thing he's sweet sometimes...and it helps that he's really cute and has the most endearing smile I've ever seen on a two year old. We were on our way back from the Children's Museum today and I hear him saying to Spencer, "You wanna piece a me? A piece of poop and pee?" We've been working on potty talk and what it is and where it belongs, so I ask him, "Where does potty talk go Sterling?" "In my mouth!" AUGGGHHH!! He's funny isn't he? Despite all the things that he does that aren't so endearing, I sure do love him.

Gotta love technology
This is how we spend Conference weekend. I'm so grateful for technology when it's times like these. For the last three years, Brandon has had drill weekend during conference weekend and there is NO WAY I'm going to attempt going to the church for four hours a day with my crazy brood. It's nice to be able to watch conference via the Internet. For the most part the boys do really well. Especially the littlest ones who nap! Notice the totes in the back round....it's our semi-annual seasonal clothing swap. It has become quite the undertaking swapping out the kids clothes. I am so grateful to be able to have clothes to pass down to each child, but man it would be so nice to be able to go out and buy 40 to 50 new outfits every season. Just think of all the storage space it would save!!!
