My parents came down for the weekend, to spend Easter with us. It was nice to have them here. On Saturday, we drove up to Cloud Land Canyon with my brother and his family, to have a picnic and hike down to the falls. It was a beautiful day. We all had a great time.

You've Had A Birthday Shout Hooray, Take II
Sebastian Wade aka: Sebby Subs, Sebs, Fat Bastian, is now SEVEN. Absolutely shocking to me for some reason. It just doesn' seem really that he's that old. I guess it should considering how many more have come after him, but just the same, it doesn't. He had a low key celebration here at home, with close friends of the family. A good time was had by all. And of course cake was had by all. A close personal favorite of mine! I made and decorated it......that's why it's kinda funny looking. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEBS!

Just one of those days.....
that I want to be all alone. Just one of those days. I can't remember who sings the song that that refrain came from but, it's my theme song today. AUGH! It's sort of my fault, but not totally...I know, I know, excuses, excuses. My part in the "fault part" is staying up too late the last couple of nights....but that's where it ends!! The rest is out of my control. Seth woke up at 1am with a high fever. The only way in which he would sleep, was on my chest when I was lying on my back. That did not make for a good nights sleep for the two of us. So the fever continued today and my poor baby was in my arms or in his crib all day. Well, mid morning, I get a call from the "investor" that is attempting to sell our house for us, asking if he can bring three families to see the house today. Well, I can't say no, so I cleaned the house holding Seth the whole time. I'm so glad to see this day come to an end. CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!

You've had a birthday shout horray!
My sweet little baby is one! It makes me sad to know he's growing up so fast. It's so much fun to watch him grow. He doesn't let the other boys take advantage of him and it's funny to see him yell at Sterling. I'm sure it will get old soon! But for now it's too cute!! We have friends here in GA that have a daughter whose birthday is two days after his so we had a double party for them. It was so much fun and made me want twins!!

Beginners trial and error
So, I've wanted to give it a go at this whole "blog world" but haven't really been ready to take the plunge until now. It seems as though life is getting a little less chaotic now that Seth is becoming more of a toddler and less of a needy infant. It pains me to have to say that though. I will so miss the days of infant cries, smells, cuddles, and nursing. As you all know, we're moving on with that chapter of our lives and focusing on the future chapters and books to come. I'm waiting for the happy relief that some speak of to actually take effect......still waiting......maybe it will come tomorrow. Some days I think it will never come. Some days I can't wait for our children to live in other countries...far.....far......away. LOL. Maybe I'm just bi-polar and don't know it yet.
ANYWAY, we're still in Georgia, outside of Atlanta, in Marietta. We've enjoyed our time here and will be sad to leave this summer. We're headed to Kansas City, Missouri. We are excited and can't wait to begin our new adventures. It will be the first time I've lived in the mid west. I'm a little doubtful that I'll love it like the east coast/south that I'm so found of. We'll see though. We've decided to live on base in base housing. This is a first. It will be the first time in a long time that we're not home owners....assuming we can sell our little "Cottage" here in GA. I'm actually excited about the whole "renting" thing. I guess we've had too many Saturdays filled with projects for my liking. I'm not looking forward to drab white walls though. I guess there is good and bad in both situations. At least we won't have to live through the selling phase again. Having your house showing ready at the drop of a hat with five children is not my idea of time well spent.
For now, I'll end, but I'm looking forward to keeping this updated with all the fun and exciting things that go on in our lives. I'll post some pictures soon too. Thanks for reading.
